Crystals and other mystic things

There are my food posts and my introspective, stream of consciousness posts. Because… balance.

So every single day, I’m wearing a minimum of one crystal, usually two. I have my quartz with black tourmaline in it, amethyst, citrine, black tourmaline, rose quartz and selenite. My tourmalined quartz is on my keys and travels with me everywhere because being around people is an energetic shock. I need help staying grounded and not being stressed while walking in the grocery store. Yes, I’m really that sensitive to energies and people. My amethyst and citrine are pendants, so I’ll wear those under my shirt at work (like right now as I’m typing this, at work). Days I know that will aggravate me call for citrine, that happy abundant energy is difficult to have sometimes when I’m the only black persons in an overwhelmingly white space. Somehow, citrine reminds me that I have sacral and solar plexus chakras and those are my favorite chakras. Days I know I need more insight and tranquility call for amethyst. My rose quartz is for my inconsistent meditation practice 🤦🏾‍♀️ *face palm* and I have my selenite because smart, Black, mystic twitter said I need it. Yes, that is my entire reason for purchasing it. They are right about most things, so I make the minor investment and figure out how to use it later (also see the moringa powder, spirulina, and yoga blocks currently in my apartment).

I just ordered The Happiness Set from Soulful Vibes Co. Their Website Carnelian, Red Jasper, Yellow Jasper, Citrine, Tiger’s Eye, Pyrite, Amethyst, Smokey Quartz and an additonal piece of Blue Kyanite.

A friend got me this hand-sized cluster of Obsidian, aka Dragon Glass (Yep, still binge watching GoT).

So bascially, my chakras are going to be supported and balanced by my growing collection of crystals and I don’t feel bad about it in the slightest bit. Some have retail therapy, I have crystal therapy.

PALO SANTO!!!!!!

Get yourself some. It cleanses the negative energy and welcomes positive energy. It has a less offensive smell than sage and can be relit multiple times while also be able to self-extinguish. I’m too forgetful to deal with candles and constant flames. It’s amazing, wonderful and safe to have around dogs.

That is all I have for now. Cute, short and sweet like a sleeping toddler!
